About Us

Calculus Calc is a free calculus learning site built around one idea: you understand calculus best when you can see every step and test every idea yourself.

What you’ll find here

  • A step-by-step calculus solver for derivatives, integrals (indefinite, definite and improper) and limits. It shows which rule is applied at each step, and every antiderivative is checked by differentiating it back before it is shown.
  • 27 calculators, including a simple and a scientific calculator plus specialised tools for tangent lines, critical points, concavity, Newton’s method, arc length, volumes of revolution, Taylor polynomials, series tests, partial derivatives, gradients, double integrals, Euler’s method and more.
  • A 2D visual lab where you can plot any function with its derivative, a movable tangent line, shaded area and Riemann rectangles.
  • A practice arena and a formula cheatsheet for revision.
  • The Academy Blog: clear, worked guides to the topics students search for most, from the power rule to Taylor series. A good place to start is our overview of calculus concepts.

Everything is free to use and runs directly in your browser. No account is needed.

Who we are

Calculus Calc is founded and edited by Yasir Hafeez. You can read more on the author page.

How we keep things accurate

Mathematics has to be right. Every formula and worked answer in our guides is checked numerically against our own calculation engine before publication, and we correct errors as soon as they are reported. Our full process is described in our Editorial Policy.

Who the site is for

High school and AP Calculus students, university students taking Calculus I–III, teachers looking for classroom demonstrations, and anyone brushing up on calculus for engineering, physics, economics or data science.

How the site is funded

Calculus Calc is free for everyone. To cover hosting and development costs, the site may display advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense. Advertising never influences our explanations or results. See our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer for details.
